Introduction & brief History
Shishukunj Swimming Academy is located in Indore in the state of Madhya Pradesh in Central India. Located inside the campus of The Shishukunj International School, Shishukunj Swimming Academy is an institution which aims to train the young boys and girls in this fantastic sport of Swimming and prepare them for competitions of highest level. Apart from young children we promote swimming in parents and other people of all ages there by try to make this sport more popular.
Shishukunj Swimming Academy
Shishukunj Swimming Academy has been formally started in the summer of 2010, however the swimming training and practice has been going on at this swimming pool since 2005.
We are very proud to share that two of our Academy Swimmers – Advait Page and Param Birthare – have been selected to represent Indian Swimming Team participating in South Asian Aquatic Championship (SAAC 2016) organized in Colombo. They not only participated in this International Meet but also won medals in their first International Outing.
Earlier in 2008, Heta Davey was selected to represent India in Commonwealth Youth Games organized in Pune. Heta had won many medals in Junior Nationals between 2006 & 2009 and also won medal in Senior Nationals in 2010. Heta is recipient of Eklavya Award 2007 – Madhya Pradesh Government’s award for sporting excellence in Junior Category.
We are sure there will be many accolades and higher achievements to our Swimming Academy’s credit in future.
